Reclaimed cabinets, lovingly restored to their former glory with a few minor upgrades, stood alongside hand carved marble hardware and modern appliances, forming a delightful fusion of functionality and sustainability. It became a space where culinary delights were created with love, while cherished gatherings with friends and family took place. In the living room, a masterpiece of coexistence emerged. A custom handcrafted wood mantel adorned the grand natural stone fireplace with a linear inset. Forging a seamless connection between the past and the present. Cozy layers & textures were used to infuse ease & comfort into the space.

This bedroom & bathroom became a serene retreat, where dreams intertwined with memories. Rustic decor mixed with traditional furniture were artfully paired with fresh linens, enveloping sleepers in a cocoon of tranquillity and nostalgia. In each space, a warm, inviting aura whispered tales of the past while embracing the promise of tomorrow. Our chosen stone for this project was driftwood as it represents the letting go of roots and being organically tumbled by life. Being that this family experienced mass change & uprooting during the period of this renovation, driftwood played a supportive role. It is the purification of the inbetween that comes from surrendering to our truth & new beginnings. The stripping away layers of self to reveal our vulnerable, soft & heart-centred core. It is knowing our self deeply, being in our light and allowing our self to truly be seen. Sensing our innate connecting to the earth & what supports us. This level of vulnerability is rarely easy but with the right people & environment, it can be incredibly empowering & uplifting.As the renovation neared completion, the home exuded an undeniable warmth and inspiring charm. It became a sanctuary where cherished stories mingled with promising new chapters, embodying the essence of the homeowners' vision.

After years of raising children in a home filled with memories, one of our recent interior design clients decided it was time to embrace a new chapter of life. Their children have grown, and they wanted to create a space that reflected their evolving journey—one that celebrated their bond as a couple, while honoring the love and warmth of the family they built together.We worked closely with them to curate a design that melds sophistication with comfort, focusing on creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. From soft neutral tones to elegant finishes, every detail was chosen to reflect their personal style, while ensuring that the space felt like a true retreat.The stand out crystal for this project was Malachite, with its rich green hues and unique patterns, is not just a beautiful stone—it’s also known for its transformative energy. In this home, malachite was chosen to symbolize the couple’s transition and growth. The crystal is often linked to positive change, abundance, and protection, making it the perfect addition to help them embrace this new phase of life.By placing malachite accents throughout the home, from decorative pieces to statement furniture, the couple can feel supported by the stone’s energy as they create new memories together. The crystal’s natural beauty also complements the overall aesthetic of the space, adding a touch of nature and tranquility to their modern sanctuary.This transition wasn’t just about moving to a new house, it was about stepping into a space that felt aligned with their current desires and dreams. This home is a blend of two beautiful families with so much love. Within the container of this home, they like to celebrate art. Each wall has its own unique piece. Much like the unique personalities that make up this home.
Tiger iron was selected for this space to encourage grounding and to energize the room. The living room of this home is where the entire family gathers together. It’s the heartbeat of the home so I wanted to make sure to enhance creative expression and generate a feeling of stability so each person who inhabits the space feels supported.
My sweet parents; they’ve trusted me to redecorate & renovate the family home on a few occasions over the years. This last project was the biggest yet. They made the move from a rural town surrounded by family & friends to join me in the big city. So when they purchased this home and had faith in me when I said I could see the potential, I knew I had to make sure this house felt like home, with many special and custom touches!
We completely gutted & renovated the kitchen, refinished the exotic cherry wood floors, added a fireplace & built-ins in the living room. We also repurposed the cherry wood from the mudroom floors as stair treads (because I just couldn’t let it go to waste), while installing beautiful Spanish tile in it’s place.
The overall feel of the home is a mix of new & old finishes that leads itself to a French Country Cottage. We blended our treasured antiques with carefully hand selected items to really bring it all together.
Being that this home belongs to the ones that know me best, they are well aware of all my “hippy” ways and engaged with many crystals & stones over time. But the one that was most supportive for them in this process was the Amethyst. Being that they were in a big transition phase in life & had recently lost someone very near & dear, the Amethyst helped to balance the mind, body & soul. Grounding the energy of sorrow & allowing all chakras to come into alignment & open & clear in order to move through the healing process & help to shift the idea of what the move might look & feel like. Serenity & calm.
